The USPS has announced the following increases for First-Class mail effective January 27, 2013.

The USPS has introduced new folded self-mailer tabbing rules which take effect January 5, 2013.

Business class rates including Presorted First Class, Standard Mailing and Periodicals will increase effective January 22, 2012.

Professional Mail Services, Inc (PMSI) of Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, a leading provider of mail communications, announced today that the USPS has immediately discontinued FFMUN fulfillment from RIBBSS until further notice. The USPS is no longer going to distribute FFMUN data electronically via RIBBS but rather convert to a CD based fulfillment system. All of the details surrounding the USPS CD distribution are yet to be determined. There has been no conversion timetable provided by the USPS as of yet, so we have no idea how long it will take to get everything converted to this new distribution method.
